Kevin Love.
Forward of the Minnesota Timberwolves,
Love joined the NBA and Minnesota in 2008 and has had an impressive career in a
short amount of time. In just four years, Love was an All-Star twice
(2011-2012), the Most Improved Player and Rebounding Champion in 2011, and the
Three-Point Shootout Champion in 2012.
Love is one of the top rebounders in
the NBA and has worked hard to improving his game since he started his pro
career. He has definitely earned his spot in the NBA as a player who matters. The
2011- 2012 season was a great one for Love. He began the season recording 15 straight double-doubles. This past January, Love scored 30 points in three consecutive games for the first time in his career. In March, he scored a season high 42 points in a win over the Portland Trail Blazers and set a franchise record for most games scoring over 30 points in a season after a win over the Phoenix Suns. Love also had a career-high 51 points in a double overtime loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
The Timberwolves and Love have come a long way, and they look promising for this upcoming season. In fact, Love said he would be surprised if the Timberwolves do not make it to the playoffs this year.
