"I never doubted it would work out. I love being here," said Thibodeau, the
2011 Coach of the Year.
Thibodeau has coached the Chicago Bulls since 2010, but his future position with the Bulls was up in the air due to contract length and value discussions.
Now however, Thibodeau has agreed to a four-year contract extension, and general manager Gar Forman has repeatedly said he looks to secure Thibodeau as the Bulls' coach long term.
Thibodeau is the fastest coach in NBA history to win 100 games, and since he began coaching the Bulls in 2010, Chicago has been first in regular-season wins.
Check out more information on Thibodeau's contract extension at ESPN and the Chicago Tribune.
