Clippers Beat Heat 107-100

Despite LeBron James’ 30 points, five rebounds and seven assists, the LA Clippers beat Miami Heat tonight by seven (woo!). This is their fourth straight win. The Clippers blew out the Heat in the second half. Between Jamal Crawford, Blake Griffin and Chris Paul, great team play (on time passing and on target shooting) resulted in the Clippers’ victory over the Heat. Crawford was especially on fire tonight leading LA with 22 points off the bench (seven in the first quarter, seven in the second and eight in the fourth). Griffin had 20 points, 14 rebounds and six assists. CP3 added 16 points and 10 assists to the game, but what was amazing was 13 of those points were scored in the third quarter alone. The Clippers owned the third, 33 points total were scored in comparison to the Heat’s 20 points (again, with the last 13 points made by Paul)—awesome.

Meanwhile, the Chicago Bulls won in overtime against the Phoenix Suns (112-106) and oddly enough the Memphis Grizzlies beat Oklahoma City Thunder (107-97). Detroit Pistons beat 76ers (94-76)—Pistons won their first game FINALLY so now they’re 1-8, Boston Celtics beat Utah Jazz (98-93), Charlotte Bobcats beat Minnesota Timberwolves (89-87), Houston Rockets beat New Orleans Hornets (100-96), Milwaukee Bucks beat Indiana Pacers (99-85), Dallas Mavericks beat Washington Wizards (107-101) and Golden State Warriors beat Atlanta Hawks (92-88).

Between the Heat losing and the Bulls winning, tonight was a good night in NBA basketball.
