Derrick Rose is Back!

The Bulls defeated the Indiana Pacers 82-76 in Indianapolis tonight in the preseason opener for both teams. Derrick Rose played for the first time after 18 months and he looked good.

Although he had a rough start (1-for-4 in the first six minutes), Rose knocked off the rust overtime and his explosive speed Chicago fans know and love came through. Rose definitely has a ways to go but he came out in the end with 13 points (5-for-12 from the field), two rebounds, three assists and two steals in 20 minutes of play.

Chicago fans are excited to see their star player finally make a comeback after nearly a year-and-a-half of rehab and training following an ACL tear. Taj Gibson had 18 points and 12 rebounds while Luol Deng added 15 points and eight rebounds. The Bulls will play the Memphis Grizzlies in St. Louis on Monday the 7th. It's going to be an exciting NBA season with Rose back in the game. Go Bulls!
