The Bulls’ loss to the Nuggets is probably the best and
worst game I’ve been to. The United Center was roaring like no other when the
Bulls tied the game at the end of the fourth quarter forcing the Nuggets into
overtime. For the last minute of the fourth, Bulls fans were on their feet
cheering them on to make a comeback and that energy spilled into OT. My ears
were ringing from the noise, but the atmosphere was amazing. Things were going fine for the
Bulls until Andre Iguodala landed a 3-pointer with 7.1 seconds left on the
clock. Joakim Noah tipped in a missed jumper shot by Marco Belinelli with 1.7
seconds left, but the refs called the play as offensive goaltending. It was a great effort on the Bulls' end, but the Nuggets’ won the game by one.
Noah had a great night with 14 points, 12 rebounds, seven
blocks and six assists. Nate Robinson had a season-high 34 points and seven
assists. Luol Deng added 21 points, and Jimmy Butler scored 15 points
and seven rebounds off the bench.
On the Nuggets’ end, Wilson Chandler led the team with 35 points,
nine rebounds and four assists off the bench. Corey Brewer had 16 points, and Ty
Lawson added 13 points.
This game marked the Nuggets' 12th straight victory.
Below are some pictures from the game.
